Pieter Mondrian is a father of non-representational form of art which he termed neoplasticism. Neoplasticism is defined by white background and usage of vertical and horizontal black lines and primary colors in his paintings. Mondribot 2 (there is also an original Mondribot (1) that is not available for sale) is developed as a derivative from Mondrian’s “Lozenge” series of paintings, whose frame was tilted into a diamond shape, so the black bars can remain vertical and horizontal. Mondribot 2 is both tilted and straight at the same time – you can hang its frame either conventionally, or to its top left corner. Both positions are correct.
